Welcome to Concourse Group. I run the sales and marketing functions here, and also do a lot of the recruiting. I have 15 years of experience in this industry, and was in project management before that. If you have ever used a staffing service to find employees, or used a recruiter to locate and place you in a new position, then probably none of this process is new to you, and you know the ropes. Of course, if you aren't familiar with the process, then in summary here's what happens. Companies pay search firms to locate, interview, screen, background check, and hire specialized technical professionals. We network like crazy, pay for all sorts of job boards, maintain national and international partnerships, read stacks of resumes online, interview, interview, interview, and finally locate the right persons for the job. For candidates, we're sort of a matchmaking service, because your job is a huge part of your life, and we want you to have a good life. We're here to smooth things out, run interference, and become your recruiter of choice when it's time to move your career to the next step.
